Automsoft - CEO and Founder

During my tenure with Automsoft I grew the company to 20+ people working in Ireland, UK and the USA. The company was valued at €12 million at the time of its last fundraising round in April 2002. The company sold to many of the top pharmaceutical companies, primarily in the US, including, Wyeth, Baxter, Roche, Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb, Schering Plough, Akzo Nobel. Considerable sales success was also achieved in other industry sectors including Oil/Gas – Statoil, Electricity – AES, Brewing – Carlsberg, Guinness, Food – Kraft, Cadbury, and Water – Thames Water.

The company won the Technology award from the Irish Software Association in 2003.

I was invited to partake on the European Steering Committee of the OPC Foundation, which consists of over 350 companies worldwide, dedicated to the establishment of open standards for automation systems.
