I worked as part of a team for Kilkenny Water Safety working on 5 locations as a river lifeguard.
I worked from June - August 2008 and also 2009.
List duties:
• Putting up appropriate flags
• Keeping log of accidents
• Dealing with public
• Checking safety of water each day
• Informing people of the dangers of swimming

Interests
I enjoy swimming greatly and keeping fit, I am very moticated in everything I do.
I enjoy playing music also, I am on grade 7 in piano at the moment.
I am also interested in The Special Olympics. I organised a fundraiser in aid of The Special Olympics Ireland 2010 which will be held in Limerick in June this year. It raised 1685e and I will hold more fundraisers in the near future.
Awards
• Manual Handling course – box lifting and patient handling.
• Swimming – I have won many medals in relays and galas. I am also a qualified pool and river lifeguard and qualified in first aid, I am currently training for beach lifeguard.
• I volunteered in the Fr. McGrath centre helping disadvantaged children with their homework for a number of weeks.
• I have a great interest in music. I have completed exams in piano (on grade 7 at present). I also sang in four different choirs for exams, church and performance.
• I am also a regular reader at mass.
• I completed my first aid course and AED course in 2008 and 2009.
• I completed the typing exam QWERTY in 2007 also I am very well able to use computers.
