Since 2011, Dr. Robin Ammon has served as an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Science at the University of South Dakota. Charged with coordinating USD’s sport management programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level, he modified the existing curriculum to develop a comprehensive online platform. Under Dr. Ammon's management, USD supports a new, 45-credit undergraduate sport management program and a two-year, 33-credit master of sport management program.
Dr. Robin Ammon’s professional background also includes roles as an assistant professor instructing physical education students at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, and Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Dr. Robin Ammon holds a bachelor of science in physical education from the University of Colorado, a master of science in exercise science from Louisiana State University, and a doctor of education with a concentration in sport management from the University of Northern Colorado.
