Rick Ament

An experienced health care executive in Michigan, Rick Ament has more than 25 years of experience in multi-facility management, strategic planning, and new business development. Early in his career, while serving as president and CEO of Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, Wisconsin, he was honored as Young Health Executive of the Year by the American College of Healthcare Executives. He went on to achieve leadership positions including group vice president of Quorum Health Resources, chief operating officer of Covenant Healthcare, and president of Beacon Leadership Group. In 2007, Rick Ament achieved his current role as president and CEO of Superior Healthcare Systems in Ishpeming, Michigan. In this position, he oversees a number of rural health care entities. He also currently holds the position of hospital president of Superior Health Partners.
