I have graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 degree in Business (Marketing). I'm able use my own initiative and work as part of a team. This is the job I undertook as part of my placement year as a part of my university degree. Within my stay I gained valuable insight into how banks operate. This opportunity was excellent for me as I am greatly interested in the financial world and I acquired the following skills:
• I was able to participate in various tasks for the bank. These included cashing cheques, working on the till and I was in charge of maintaining the efficient running of the ATM machines.
• I was able to communicate well with customers and had a good relationship with all the staff.
• I was trusted to handle thousands of pounds as I had to maintain the ATM machines.
• I learned about many of the products offered by the bank, such as credit cards, loans, the various types of bank accounts and ISAs.
• I was expected to and achieved to successfully sell these products to customers on a daily basis.
• I met and exciding my sales targets every quarter.

Quainton Hall School - Teaching Assistant

Developing great organisational skills, whilst working with children it was essential that they were provided with everything that was necessary. I had to organise as well as teach many football training sessions.
I had to have great communication skills with the children, their parents and other teachers. This was essential as often on sports games children were taken off school grounds and it was key that the message was relayed to their parents so that they would know where and what time to pick them up.
I managed to develop great relationships with teachers, the children and their parents.
