Mortgage Times Ireland - Loan Offers | Completions Development Manager | Underwriters Assistant

During my time with Mortgage Times Ireland, my main duties involved processing mortgage applications submitted by our Brokers with the objective of providing an excellent service and increasing mortgage business. This involved dealing with Prime Lender Banks and the Sub-Prime Lenders. My position in Mortgage Times Ireland was to follow up on all active accounts from getting the application ready to be submitted to the Lender right through to the Cheque Issue. Through this process I was in direct contact with Solicitors and Valuer’s daily, dealing with any errors or queries that might come up during the process of getting the customers mortgage.

I joined the Intermediaries Broker Mortgage Centre working first under the post team working with online fax system and post that arrived in the area; I then progressed to a new role working in New Applications. My role there involved processing the new applications received and requesting missing documentation needed for Underwriting. I was also in regular communication by phone and email with our Broker clients and with the Legal and Valuer professions.

Xtravision - Assistant Manager / Acting Manager

Took on the responsibility of running the Carpenterstown Store for a period of over three months as Acting Manager, during that period I brought the store up to 86% of its targets and targeted the electronics part of the store which created a boost in sales. I was also responsible for Stock Control, including Quarterly, monthly, and daily Stock Checks, with excess or slow moving stock being sent to other stores to open space for new products. For my staff I was always on call while the store was open, with instance access to queries when needed.

I was a Key holder for the company for seven years. During my time with the company I worked in various areas including Security and the operations of the cinema to cash control for the box office and concessions stands. After a period I progressed to a Supervision role with involved training new staff to supervising of the contract morning cleaners. I was also involved in the Stock control which including weekly control of stock intake and ordering. Every end of year I also took responsibility for the yearly Stock Take.
