Over an eight-year period, Mr. Andapally increased its revenues from $1 million to $10 million. Currently, Praveen Andapally acts as Chief Executive Officer of a telecommunications firm. Based in Piscataway, New Jersey, IT executive Praveen Andapally brings a high level of leadership and marketing ability to business. Early in his career, after earning a Master’s in Applied Statistics from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, he focused on programming by teaching students how to code, and then he began coding scripts independently. With the goal of starting his own business, Praveen Andapally moved to the United States in 1996, first to program customer relationship management (CRM) software for PeopleSoft, Inc., in Pleasanton, California, then to sell such services for IT consulting firm Software Research Group, Inc. (SRG), in Iselin, New Jersey. While at SRG, Praveen Andapally increased annual income from $2 million to $20 million in two years and rose to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Recruiting.
After leaving SRG, Praveen Andapally achieved his goal, establishing a fast-growing IT consulting firm with offices in New Jersey and Andhra Pradesh, India, in 2002. With this company, he built a far-reaching network of referrals and recruits for CRM and IT risk management. He invested heavily in the development of the company's Indian business operations, including the acquisition of companies such as Compugra Systems, Inc., from SAP AG, in order to bolster operations in the field of systems, applications, and products in data processing. In addition, Praveen Andapally bolstered annual revenue tenfold to $10 million at the end of the nine years he ran the company.
Branching out to other aspects of IT and telecommunications, Praveen Andapally recently established a new company, Vitel Global Communications, based in Piscataway, New Jersey. His new company sells Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony and e-mail services, all connected through a PBX network that businesses access through a broadband connection, which saves them money. As Chief Executive Officer, Praveen Andapally primarily manages company operations and sales as well as developing its overall business strategy. Believing in keeping a balance between his professional life and his personal life, he says, “Spending time with my family gives me the strength and peace to work harder.” Praveen Andapally resides in Piscataway with his wife and two children.
