Profile Activity

Business growth professional for over four years working with various SMEs and a multi-national digital marketing agency.

Enjoy strengthening business reputation, building client relationships and earning long term trust of clients through gaining a deeper understanding of their business needs. Focus on finding if there is a client-agency fit.

Thrive on competition and relish large scale pitches for the opportunity to highlight our strengths. They say 'if you want to soar like an eagle you can't fly with pigeons' - this is also true with a brand's digital marketing efforts. I get this point across, point out the potential for ROI and get the ball rolling.

They say your best clients were once strangers - I facilitate this introduction in a swift easy manner, helping build rapport and developing action plans early in the relationship.

Barnes & Borelan's Ice Cream - Partner

Barnes & Borelan’s Ice Cream was a part time venture I started with a partner to deliver an ice cream tricycle service at school, corporate and wedding events. Having passed 18 months in business and after steadily growing in popularity, we received and accepted an offer to sell the business to a general wedding events company for an excellent return on investment. Accomplishments included;

• Identified a niche market and capitalised on it by creating, developing and running a profitable business within. Branded the concept and invested in product development – our ‘Ulster Fry’ ice cream was very popular and the vision was to sell this in stores within the first three years

• Designed a fully functional website with e-commerce capabilities and social networking links. Applied fantastic SEO efforts to gain top Google results for ‘Ice Cream Belfast’ and multiple other relevant keywords

• By month 18 we had attended multiple events and gained a good return on initial investment

• Secured a great rate with suppliers for stock which allowed for a 70% profit margin per cone

• Sold the business for a healthy profit and negotiated a great deal
