Starting in 2003 on desktop Support, I was soon moved to a junior position on the Interactive Web Support Team. Having been promoted to Linux Systems Administrator, I assumed responsibility for all Web Services systems & Application deployment policies. While in this position, the company's web infrastructure became vital in generating revenue as well as promoting the Quinn Group in general.
Specific duties consisted of:
Linux Server builds & customisation.
Software installation & configuration.
Providing direction in projects & development.
System & application hardening.
Load-test planning/scripting, execution & reporting.
Bash Shell Scripting.
Also within my remit;
Orchestrate troubleshooting exercises.
Windows Server Administration.
IP Network configuration & troubleshooting.
Approve Production configuration changes.
Interact directly with business managers and liaise with other IT teams on system changes.
