IBM - EMEA Sales Manager, CRM Software

Lead the Sales and Marketing teams across EMEA to increase dramatically IBM's market share in CRM Software. This role involved promoting IBM's own CRM software while creating partnerships with ISVs to add to IBM's offerings such as; Siebel, Lagan and others.

Created a team to grow IBM partnerships in the City of London, where IBM's market share was less than 1%. Signing 20 new companies, revenues grew 130% to $13million.

Following on from the Success in Ireland, Peter was asked to lead the drive for IBM personal software across EMEA within the financial services division. Growing revenues 13% required setting strategy and marketing plans as product manager to create compelling propositions for banking clients to invest in IBM software.

IBM Ireland - Personal Software Sales Manager

Combined the roles of Product manager and Sales manager, growing revenues in the 2 year period by over 300%. the IBM personal software suite included OS/2, and all applications products that ran on PCs, which was core to IBM's client server strategy

IBM - National Marketing Unit

This 3 year role involved running direct marketing campaigns, setting up an early CRM system and managing partners relationships for IBM's portfolio of products. From interacting with marketing agencies to running partner seminars the role was immensely rewarding and included highlights such as achieving a response rate in excess of 60% for a direct marketing campaign to the recruitment industry, when we sent them a CV inviting them to a seminar to showcase recruitment software.
