During my time in the Pharma sector I have covered a broad range of documented issues ranging from FAT, SAT, equipment installation, validation, maintenance and process improvement. To date I have successfully participated in 40+ media fills on Vial, Syringe and Ampoule filling lines. All duties were carried out within a cGMP environment on a FDA and IMB approved sites.
I have experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and process improvement of pharmaceutical equipment.

Job Title: Contract Senior Maintenance Technician.
Contracted to improve filling line output and reduce downtimes. Promote a lean approach to filling activities. Production support and Preventive Maintenance was undertaken. Maintenance on Steris autoclaves and washers performed.Air handling unit maintenance undertaken. Equipment upgrades through a change control system was also carried out with the aid of equipment studies and data gathered as part of an ongoing process improvement plan. Commissioning and Qualification of new production equipment carried out.

Job Title: Consultant Aseptic Maintenance Specialist.
Duties: Working on contract with the Engineering Dept. during the ramp up of activities from PQ runs to Media Fills and Clinical Batches in their Sterile Fill Finish Facility. Tasked with introducing and promoting an Aseptic approach to clean utilities (WFI,Clean Steam,AHU) maintenance and cleanroom activities. Hands on training of maintenance and production staff in aseptic technique and preparation for process qualification media fills. Commissioning size change and spare parts and implementing process improvement upgrades. Filling Line de-bugging carried out to optimize machine output. Autoclave troubleshooting carried out.
Maintenance carried out under a PEMAC system.

Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician.
Aseptic set up and maintenance of a state of the art Bausch & Strobel Vial filling line .I was selected to carry out an FAT on the prime filling line. Tasked with the commissioning (mechanical) of the filling line on site. As a follow up I was involved in SAT and IQ/OQ/PQ of the filling line. I trained other maintenance and Production staff on the filling line. Production support during filling was provided. Preventive Maintenance schedules were created and a sufficient spares stock level was ordered and quantified. Clean Utilities, Filling, Inspection and Packaging lines maintained. Bausch & Stroebel Ampoule filling lines maintained and relevant Qualification works carried out as required. Groeninger Syringe Filling Line also covered under the same regime. Getinge , Delama and Steris autoclave issues addressed. Clean utilities (WFI,Clean Steam etc.) maintenance was also covered as part of this role. Facilities maintenance-Boiler ,AHU and associated services carried out. Servicing all equipment to ensure an uninterrupted delivery of all services.
