Paula Flanagan's Professional Experience

2008 - Present

Program Manager

Programme Manager for the new 11811 Technical Infrastructure. This project completed the end to end replacement of the technical infrastructure that supports the 11811 National DQ, 11818 International DQ, Alarm Clock Call and other USO related services.

In terms of project scope the project comprised the complete end to end replacement of the legacy I.T and Network Infrastructure that supported the Directory Enquiry service offerings and spanned across 4 Operator Services call centres and 2 I.T data centres. In terms of size this project is one of the single biggest platform replacement programmes that has taken place to date across eircoms call centre infrastructure.

The programme replaced old Ericsson technology with a new VOIP infrastructure solution provided by Volt Delta.

My responsibilities also included establishing and managing the PMO functions for this programme. The main PMO duties included progress reporting and escalation, budget tracking, Steering meeting management and monthly newsletters to operations staff.
