I am a very versatile performer, skilled in a wide range of policy, project management, training and organisational development roles and able to apply my skills in quite varied settings and locations.
A few examples from my carreer to date include X ray photographic research, group sessions for drug offenders in prison, HIV / Aids education for the Royal Marines, lead officer for a health district's mental health strategy, negotiation of health promotion priorities with department managers, discussions on development funding priorities with a range of Ministers in the Welsh Assembly Government, liason with the Wales Local Government Association on programme development, facilitation of a debate on development issues for VSO Indonesia and currently, implementation of a company's document management system based on Microsoft SharePoint.

2009 - Present

Pobal - Business Process Review Team Leader

Co-ordinate the comapany's Business Process Review initiative. This lasted 2 years then I became project manager for the implementation of a new Document Management system based on MS SharePoint.

Prior to this I was an Appraisal Support and Development Officer within the company, working with funded organisations to improve their capacity to impact upon social disadvantage.

Big Lottery Fund - Senior Policy and Development Officer

Policy input to and development of a range of grant funding programmes with particular emphasis on the health and environment sectors within Wales.
Consultation with key national and local stakeholders re funding priorities, negotiation with National Assembly Government officials re complementarity with government intititives and programme development with and through statutory and voluntary sector partners.

VSO Indonesia - Health Project Management Trainer

2 year position to suport an Indonesian health project to become self sustainable and to improve management practices.
This was followed by a 1 month contract for major american development agency to work with 2 of their projects on management practices and a 2 month project for VSO Indonesia to develop a Health Sector strategy.

Comprehensive science education, with major in behavioural science, including thorough grounding in research methods. Post Grad was Dip Health Education in which I was trained in education and training methodologies, health policy ananlysis and further experience in research methods.
