Patrick Kenneally McHenry

Since 2007, Patrick Kenneally has performed as an Assistant State's Attorney serving McHenry County, Illinois. Currently assigned to the Felony Division, Kenneally has been involved in more than 100 felony and misdemeanor trials. Throughout his career, he has prosecuted those accused of white-collar crime, reckless homicides, criminal sexual assault, domestic battery, and driving under the influence. Moreover, he leads suppression and forfeiture hearings.

Before accepting his current role, Patrick Kenneally filled the position of Law Clerk for the Honorable William D. Maddux in the Circuit Court of Cook County. For almost two years, he engaged in legal research and analysis into civil matters and offered recommendations to the judge on cases. Along with writing bench memoranda, opinions, jury instructions, and post-trial motions, Kenneally also created a manual for law clerks.
