I was working in the Development Application Unit of the Department. My work involved opening the post and delivering it to the relevant areas. I dealt with the new planning applications for counties Limerick, Clare and Westmeath and I was responsible for recording all these applications on the computer system. My work also involved forwarding the applications to other areas if additional information was required. I was also responsible for the filing of the applications from these areas.
