Neil Schober opened Emerald City Athletic Club in 2010. Due to its reasonable prices, state-of-the-art equipment and amenities, and team of fitness professionals, Emerald City Athletic Club has amassed a number of loyal members over the past year and half. The facilities also include an Olympic style swimming pool, Turkish steam bath, and sauna, as well as racquetball, handball, and basketball courts. As the owner and CEO of the club, Neil Schober ensures that Emerald City Athletic Club stands above other gyms in the Everett and Seattle areas. Under his direction, Emerald City Athletic Club focuses on motivating its clients to return to the club regularly and commit to their personal fitness goals.

Knowing the importance of keeping one’s body healthy and properly nourished, Neil Schober used his expertise in business and fitness to pioneer the Future Generation Project, one of his philanthropic endeavors. The Future Generation Project works to fight childhood obesity by working for prevention, as well as encouraging exercise and good nutrition for children who are overweight. Working with Pastor Tommy Barnett, Neil and Gina Schober launched a fitness club at the Dream Center, a Los Angeles-based rehabilitation center that, with the help of volunteers, has helped the homeless, people without food, victims of abuse, and many other groups of people in need over the past 17 years.

Neil Schober built his success from the ground up. While attending Western Washington University between 1970 and 1974 double majoring in Economics and Sociology, he worked as a janitor part time. Since then, Mr. Schober has built, owned, and operated 100 fitness clubs in the United States. He has also pioneered four different companies and sold them for profit.
