Whilst focusing on my BA (Hons) in Strategic Human Resource Management I've been actively involved with Trailblazers, a non-profit Youth Development Program in New York City. I've gained a tremendous amount of professional experience and personal growth at Trailblazers whilst facing some unbelievable challenges in the work they do.. I've progressed from a Counselor to an Enabler eventually on to working on the waterfront and ensuring safety to a Directors position.
At present I work for one of the world's leading e-learning companies ThirdForce as a part of the HR Services Team. The focus and energy on the people here is Amazing and the company continues to grow in many directions. I've been exposed to all aspects of HR at ThirdForce and it continues to challenge me, which is excellent and highly motivating.

ThirdForce plc - HR Executive
To work with and to support the HR Manager to develop and implement a strategic and functional HR Strategy that supports the achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Positively engage HR in support of all functions in the business
· Contribute to developing and assist in implementing the TFUKI’s HR Strategy
· Show leadership in developing and implementing Best Practice HR policies and procedures
· Maintain a strong working relationship with all teams in the business
· Champion ER initiatives within the business
· Strengthen the company’s employer brand, both through internal initiatives and external engagements
· Create & maintain a positive work environment
· Provide accurate & timely support and guidance to the business
General Duties:
· Provide end to end recruitment services
· Improve and maintain the HR administrative infrastructure
· Provide employee relations advice to managers and employees
· Provide administrative support to the business as required
· Contribute to training & development initiatives
· Implement agreed HR procedures and projects
· Deliver the Employee Induction Programme for all employees.
· Coordinate company events as required.
· Keep abreast of Employment Law changes at country (UK & Ireland) & EU levels
Personal Characteristics:
· Generally motivated by getting things done although takes time to consider all aspects of the situation or task
· Strikes a balance between reaching for goals and solving problems
· Has a healthy capacity to rely on feedback however intrinsically knows what needs to be done
· Works effectively at applying procedures, with a balancing creative streak
· Is not averse to a constantly changing environment and can adapt and help others adapt with ease
· Is able to focus on details for long periods of time whilst being mindful of the overall goal of an activity
· Is good with people and is naturally a go-to person
· Can cope well with periods of high pressure
· Can switch easily from working on own to working on a task with others and still be effective
