Since the early 2000s, Maruska Albertazzi has distinguished herself as a writer, journalist, and actress. A multi-talented individual, Maruska Albertazzi has worked as a freelance television reporter as of 2009 and is also developing on a screenplay.

A graduate of the Actors Centre in London, Maruska Albertazzi began singing and acting in her native Italy. Following completion of high school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Maruska Albertazzi enrolled in the Master of Communications program at the University of Bologna, Italy. While in school, she began acting first in a theatre production of Les Bonnes with Teatro del Navile, and then on two television shows: Cafenights, produced by the City of Bologna, and Nuovi Talenti, created by èTV.

Maruska Albertazzi speaks Italian, English, French, and Spanish. She is a native of Bologna.
