I have worked in each clinical area within the Daughters of Charity service located in Dublin(Navan Road and Clonsilla) and the community.
gained academic experience in health care

In Cheeverstown I have worked full time for the past three summers,2 years in Residential unit(Beeches),the clients in this unit had challenging behaviour therefore I became skilled at dealing with these behaiours,Last summer I worked in a preschool for children with special needs.From this experience I became an expert in caring for children with special needs but also interacting with parents which are a major part of the child's life.I still remain on the relief panel in Cheeverstown,from working on this panel I have now become adaptable to many different situations and clients.I feel compentent that this experience will stand to me as an intellectual disability nurse

Interests
I am a team player and enjoy interaction with people I am a memeber of a traditional Irish band Arc who have played with the Chieftains twice.
I teach tin whistle to children between the ages of 6-12 years old.This has given me the skills of patients,an ability to communicate in a manner which suits the individuals needs.
Speech and Drama i have completed 6 grades.And took part in various drama productions
