My name is Lianne Ateya. I currently hold a degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology in the area of applied arts studying Visual Merchandising. Throughout my college years I achieved high grades in all my practical and written assignments and always worked to timing schedule. Before this I studied for two years in Ballyfermot College for Further Education completing two PLC courses, the first in art design and mixed media and second in art design and three dimensional studies. I have a great deal of experience working with many types of media in a variety of techniques.
After completing my studies I took a six month internship working with a recently founded company Visual Sense. During this time I worked with a number of stores in Dublin city centre, including Clerys department store. During this time of employment I acted as Creative Manger for Visual Sense, leading a team of five team members, developing ideas, organising installations and presenting ideas to our clients.
