• Advise given on contentious and non-contentious employment issues
helping the Client to maintain and develop rigorous employment policies
and practices with a view to preventing Claims in any applicable Forum while linking in information and consultation issues.
• Assisted in the development of new Health & Safety Product which offers off or
on-site Audit and Safety Statement. Successfully defended Health and Safety
Prosecutions mainly in the LRC and the Labour Court.
• Handled all contentious employment issues in the EAT, LRC appeals to Circuit
Court most Claims have been successfully settled before reaching the Circuit
and or High Court
• Advise on transfer of undertakings and related issues.
• Client base both the private and public sectors – advise given on all employment matters including potential litigation, employment appeal tribunals, TUPE, redundancies
dismissals and immigration, e-mail and Internet usage policies, Data Protection
policies and the drafting and reviewing of employee handbooks and contracts.
• Advise and at times negotiation (re: Grievance) entered into re: Industrial Relation Law Issues
• Processing Claims to IB and successful settlement of IB Claims either on Assessment or prior to Court Proceedings.
• Commercial Legal Advice all areas including RIAI Contracts, collateral warranties
and Franchise and Agency/Distribution Agreements
