John Mangan

During my working experience and courses to-date, I have continually progressed and have gained a high level of interpersonal skills, motivational and leadership qualities. My strategic and day to day organisational and management capabilities have been severely tested and proven in the ever changing airline environment, where clear and concise decision making is critical to ensure a return to normal operations. I have also had to ensure that necessary costing and staffing adjustments were made to keep the operation running within the parameters of the budgets laid down by senior management. My management duties in Aer Arrann were not confined to local level. I was actively involved in setting up new base's in Cork airport and the Isle of Man, also making unscheduled visits to many stations to ensure company standards were maintained.
