McElhinney started his career as an Associate Attorney in the real estate and environmental group of Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, a leading Boston law firm with more than 100 years of history. Over the subsequent 19 years, Mr. McElhinney served as a partner at another Boston-based legal practice and headed a development company before founding the Law Office of Jack McElhinney, which he currently manages. During his career, John E. McElhinney has handled numerous multimillion-dollar projects for such organizations as Fireman Family Real Estate, Harvard University, and Bain Capital.
