Euro Conversion Project for Tesco Ireland
Responsible for the review of Euro conversion impacts on our 110 stores in southern Ireland.
o Role included reviewing and analysing the Cash Office areas including safes and the pod lift system and reviewed impact of having to deal with two currencies at our front end.
o Came up with recommendations to ensure we dealt with the two currencies securely and efficiently during the conversion period.
o In Retail Stockloss position I was responsible for the review and compilation of Retail stockloss figures to our business. Role included collation stock results and dealing with Retail and stockloss issues.
Tesco Store Manager
o During my first seven years in Retail I progressed from working in General store duties in Stillorgan in Quinnsworth to Manager (Trading Manager) before moving to Head Office.
o First store in management was in Dun Laoghaire as a trainee manager in 1993. I then spent the next seven years moving around business and progressing up the management ladder. I have worked in over 20 stores over the years and include all of the East Coast, Co. Kildare and many Dublin Shops.
