This is an excellent opportunity for a Web developer to work in an expanding dynamic Irish eCommerce company. GiftsDirect.com is Irelands largest Online Gift Company delivering Gifts Worldwide. As web developer & designer, you will be working on a variety of the elements associated with website design including HTML coding, CSS, user interface, landing pages etc. This is a role for someone that can take an idea and run with it to return with solid eTail orientated functional designs.
You will be responsible for leading all aspects of online development and will be a key member of the management team. You’ll be given the room to follow through on your ideas and the satisfaction of being a significant member of the team that drives the Company’s success in the months and years to come.

Requirements


Minimum 3 years experience leading large scale e-commerce projects, web application & database development.
Design and deliver innovative and practical user interfaces that solve challenging business and user experience problems.

You should have a proven history of managing mission-critical, e-commerce development projects and prove that you have the technical ability to take a hands on approach.
Recent solid ASP.NET experience and also have some design skills.


Qualifications/Skills


Proven HTML,CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, PHP & ASP.NET capabilities.
Good Knowledge of technical Implementation SEO a distinct advantage
E-Commerce Website Development Experience.
Must have solid experience of asp.net development
Must be able to conform to web/development standards.
Must be able to work on your own initiative.
Excellent presentation & communication skills.
Experience of eCommerce / eTail environments - from customer Acquisition to Fulfilment an advantage
While this is a developer position someone with good design skills would be preferable.
Knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
Mobile application development and site optimisation a plus
Experience with object oriented programming, including strong working knowledge and experience with UML and design patterns
