My client is a leading provider of software and services to the Global Financial Trading market. My client is currently looking for a software developer to join their highly skilled development team in Dublin.
The Role:
The role will entail the design, development and test of new features and components for my clients existing product. The successful candidate will also produce high quality code within tightly managed deadlines. As a developer with proven skills in software engineer the candidate will be expected to provide supporting test frameworks, configuration tools and documentation.
Skills and Experience:
• Third Level Computer Science degree or equivalent commercial experience
• 4+ year's commercial experience with the following technologies...
• C++ using Boost and STL
• Developed on UNIX / Linux OS
• Test-driven development using at least one C++ unit test framework
• Gcc, gdp and valgrind
• Database development e.g. postgres or MySQL
• Scripting experience e.g. Python or Perl
