Software Build Engineer

Our client is an established software provider with offices in south Dublin. They are currently looking for a Software Build engineer to join their development team.

Role:
As Build engineer, you will be responsible for managing the process on how software builds are generated all the way up to release. You will manage the infrastructure and automated processes. You will manage the subversion tool, maintaining all versions of source code. The software is written in Java, so knowledge of how Java builds are generated is useful. The main tools used include Subversion, Bamboo and Cruise Control. You will work closely with development and QA for full end to end release strategies.

Requirements:
• 3-4 years working in Software Build or Release
• Excellent experience in Source Control Management Tools (CVs/Perforce/Clearcase preferred)
• Experience using Altasian tools such as Bamboo or Cruise Control ideal
• Experience with Linux scripting
• Knowledge of Java, Apache, Tomcat
