Salary: €100,000 + (Dependant on Experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a high profile Engineering and Architectural Consultancy firm in the Middle East who are looking for a strong Senior Resident Engineer to represent the company as they develop their vision. The firm covers markets such as architectural, structural, master planning, cost engineering and construction management and they provide a high level of technical and design solutions to organisations all over the Middle East. The Consultancy has been established for 30 years and has created 4 bases in the Middle East and their goal is to become a leading player internationally. They are rated one of the best in their class within architecture and engineering and working for this company would be very exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Resident Engineer/Construction Manager who is seeking to develop at a fast pace and grow with a company that is passionate about being the best in their field.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to CEO and working at a principal level within an established construction engineering team and management of 3 construction managers on site
• Ensuring that all quality processes and procedures are set up and adhered to and improving existing quality to ensure an international high end finish
• The project is a large scale villa project comprising of over 12,000 villas and it is essential that you will have the ability and experience to immobilise staff and management to deliver such a project to the highest quality and within timeframe.
• Checking ongoing site work and attending client and contractor meetings
• Attending and managing meetings and producing work in progress reports
• Implementing necessary changes on site to ensure the best end result
• Strong communication and liaison with both client and contractor on a regular basis to ensure that communication and issues are resolved and dealt with effectively
• There is huge scope for this opportunity to move internationally as the firm grows in size. The plan would be to establish everything in Cairo over the first few years with the view of bringing the business back to a location in Europe that could be negotiable.

Requirements:

• Ideally you will have around 15 or more years experience working as an Senior Resident Engineer in a consultancy environment
• Degree qualified and progression or currently chartered would be a distinct advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client and contractor relations effectively.
