Summary: Highly skilled Senior Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineers required to work on a number of new retrofit projects for an expanding healthcare MNC in Limerick.



Description:

The successful candidate will be involved in new equipment installations, developments, ramps, debugs, vendor management and may also be responsible for the supervision of other engineers. The successful candidates must be high-end engineers coming from highly automated, fast paced environments. Positions to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Acts as an advocate for continuous improvement activities using statistical techniques, Lean manufacturing tools, Six Sigma, design experimentation for process and equipment, to achieve targets and cost savings.

Take the lead in troubleshooting on equipment while providing Coaching and Mentoring to other engineering staff.

Identify, design, cost and implement continuous improvements and support improvement projects on manufacturing equipment.



Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Mechanical background, with experience in high-speed automated environment and high volume manufacturing environment. Previous 'hands on' installation experience is essential, as is a project management role in large projects, ideally in medical device environment.
