Product Planner

My Midlands based client has a 12 month Contract for a Product Planner:



The Product Planner ensures product availability through effective management of available capacity while ensuring cost and quality compliance.



Ensure external and internal customer focus.

Agree production plan with Demand Planning group and ensure compliance to the agreed plan.

Ensure compliance to applicable quality requirements.

Generate and review Supply Chain Management planning, purchasing and inventory improvement metrics.

Ensure effective management of Master Production Schedule and of Material Requirements Planning.

Ensure effective management of inventory and adherence to KPI’s.

Ensure cost effective co-ordination of Quality, Scientific Services, Manufacturing and Warehouse resources to meet customer demands.

Completion of Continuous Improvement Projects in the Supply Chain Area.

Inventory control system accuracy and MES system accuracy - Set-Up and Maintenance.



Key Skills/Experience Requirements



You will have a third level qualification in a Science, Technical or Business discipline



or



be currently studying towards a relevant third level qualification, I/APICS or IIPMM qualification.



A minimum of 3 years experience working in a regulated environment, one of which must be in a regulated diagnostic’s manufacturing environment.

A good working knowledge of BPCS and Microsoft Excel are essential for this role.
