Job in a nutshell
This role would be responsible for managing the day to day Procurement activities required to support H3GI. These activities would include supporting the following spend areas: Sales & Marketing, Facilities and HR. In addition to supporting these functions the other areas which this resource would manage are relating to New Supplier Set-up, NDA process, measuring the Performance of Top 5 Suppliers, Spend Analysis and Contract Database for ROI as well as the Car Fleet.
-Provide Procurement Support across all areas of the business.
-Manage and evaluate all tenders with cross functional team.
-Develop and manage Approved Supplier list and manage Supplier Performance.
-Provide contract support for the business area and also the legal team.
-Identify Cost Reduction opportunities and manage programmes to achieve savings.
-Manage Procurement Policy and Procedures and ensure adherence to policies.
-Promote the use of e-Procurement tools to all departments.
-Work on specific cost reduction projects.
-5 Years experience in Procurement or a similar Supply Chain Management role.
-Knowledge of Telecommunication's industry
-Experience in strategic sourcing and a proven background of sustained cost improvement.
-Proven influecing/negotiation with an ability to provide strong business guidance to Senior management.
-Proactively shows a continuous improvement mindset and embraces change
-Written and verbal communication at all levels of management
-Problem Solving Skills
-Have Initiative and Innovation
-A qualification in Business, Procurement, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
