Description:

Our client, a leading multinational manufacturing company based in the North Midlands, is looking to hire a Polymer Engineer.

Responsibilities

This role will involve research and product development in polymer performance and enhancement in conjunction with resin suppliers, research and process/product development in polymer processing and reviewing and management of quality systems and certification processes across diverse families of polymers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for scaling-up of new polymers and polymer supply to high volume production, reviewing of polymer processing across the division targeting improved performance and profitability and continual improvements across the field of polymerisation and extrusion

Requirements

For this role you will have:

A degree in polymer engineering is essential

A minimum of 3 - 4 years experience in polymer engineering/ plastics industry.

the ability to travel as required as the role will involve European travel.
