Polymer / Colloid Chemist / Materials ScientistOur client is currently seeking a Lead Chemist for formulation, characterisation and printing / coating of inks.  Experience in scaling up from lab to volume manufacturing, colloid chemistry is particularly relevant.This role will suit a Chemist with a ?can-do? ?problem solver? attitude that is genuinely motivated by playing an integral part in an early stage company at the cutting edge of Research and Development in the development of ?green? technologies.This is a truly unique opportunity to join a fully funded early stage company with a fully patented product.The successful candidate will be responsible for formulation, characterization and printing/coating of the inks for hybrid inorganic/organic photovoltaic cells Main Responsibilities:Plan and perform experiments to reach given project objectives. Experimental work includes, but is not limited to formulation and printing/coating ink for organic photovoltaic cell. Collect, analyze and plot data in a proper format on a daily basis Prepare technical reports, assist in preparing project progress reports and present progress QualificationsMasters or (ideally) PhD in polymer chemistry, colloid chemistry or materials science. Three to five years experience in formulation of organic and inorganic electronic materials for various coating and printing processes is required, with background and experience in organic semiconductor devices such as OPVs and OLEDs a big plus. Strong background in coating / printing technologies is required. Applicants should have good analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with colleagues.
