Online Marketing Manager
The successful candidate will take full responsibility to develop, manage and improve the online marketing operational functions of GiftsDirect.com online businesses. The candidate will be required to, manage and improve the core marketing operational functions of GiftsDirect’s online businesses, and to maximise the return on marketing investment from the affiliate, search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay per click (PPC) acquisition channels
Reporting to the MD & Operations Manager, you will be required to bring your expertise in the areas of online marketing, e-commerce, technology, operations, project management and people management to your leadership
You will also be responsible for online acquisition of customers for the online business units through affiliates, PPC and SEO. This function defines the online acquisition strategy for the above acquisition methods with the aim of maximising acquisition, ROI and customer value through using cutting edge online marketing techniques.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Fully accountable for the management of the company’s online marketing operations function.
o Manage the relationship with key internal stake holders, including business unit managers and the marketing department, to ensure the smooth running of the online marketing operations team.
o Monitor online marketing trends and ensure GiftsDirect is well placed to take advantage of all opportunities that arise.
o To manage, analyse and grow revenues for GiftsDirect’s online affiliate program.
o To manage, analyse and grow Giftsdirect’s PPC advertising with a view to maximising return on investment across all channels.
o To create and manage a cohesive and cost effective SEO strategy for GiftsDirects online businesses.
o To manage the marketing budget for the affiliate, PPC and SEO marketing channels.
o To develop existing processes to maximise efficiency, improve return on investment, increase use of technology and to continuously improve the services provided to our customers
o To mange relationships with the company’s online marketing service providers, including but not limited to: affiliate partners, marketing technology suppliers, CRM, banner hosting, etc.
o To monitor competitor behaviour.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:
o 5 years working with/developing a recognised online brand
o Extensive understanding and experience of online technology, and in-depth understanding of online marketing acquisition techniques specifically affiliates, PPC and SEO
o Display a strong customer focused background with commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability.
o Experience of building and managing teams
o Strong communication skills
o Ability to develop and build strong working relationships with internal and third party service providers.
o Strong analytical and reporting experience
