Summary: Our client, a dynamic expanding multinational, is currently seeking Multiple Design Engineers. The purpose of these roles is to design, develop, modify and evaluate medical devices.



Description:

Our client, a dynamic expanding multinational, is currently seeking Multiple Design Engineers. The purpose of these roles is to design, develop, modify and evaluate medical devices.

Responsibilities:

Development of medical device products from concept to production using concurrent engineering and rapid prototyping techniques to reduce product time to market.

Participation in multifunctional product development teams and liaison with marketing for the development and specification of new concepts for medical device products.

Will determine and implement design approaches and parameters and conduct feasibility studies on new designs.

Will analyze designs to establish optimum operating parameters, conduct experimental tests and evaluate the results.

Will select materials, components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.

Will aid in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable and reliable.

Liaison with manufacturing engineers, project engineers and supply chain personnel for the specification and sourcing of raw materials and suppliers.

Will assist end customers in resolving product related issues: by 1). Problem solving and troubleshoot product designs; 2). Product training; & 3). Product design and development



Requirements:

We require a candidate with a degree in an engineering discipline (Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Technology, Production Management). The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of World Class Manufacturing in a regulated mechanical manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal/communication skills are also required.
