Logistics Freight Payment Specialist

Overview:



We are currently looking for a person within the EMEA Logistics team to manage the EMEA Logistics freight payment process and control the regional vendor management of our freight payment service provider.





The Role:



-Manage the EMEA Logistics Freight Payment Process.

-Establish Process Improvements in the EMEA Freight Payment Process.

-Responsibility for all Reporting Aspects of Freight Payment Management in EMEA.

-Manage day to day operations related to EMEA Freight Payment Provider on behalf of EMEA Logistics.

-Identify potential value add opportunities with existing freight payment service provider.





Person will be required to liaise frequently with:

Global Logistics Procurement, EMEA Logistics Team, EMEA Finance and EMEA Logistics Service Providers (freight payment and transportation).





The Person:

The successful person will be a self -starter, motivated with Logistics, Procurement, Analytical and Project Management skills. Must be a good communicator and work on own initiative, often to tight deadlines, in a very dynamic environment.







Educational Qualifications:



Minimum:



-Leaving Certificate or equivalent

-Diploma in Business Studies, Logistics, Computing or Accounting.



Desired:

-Primary Degree

-Logistics / Accounting Qualification



Experience Requirements:



Minimum:



-Good analytical and problem solving skills

-Supplier management experience

-Project management experience

-Advanced EXCEL

-Excellent knowledge of Database tools

-Good working knowledge of SAP



Desired:



-3-5 years experience in a similar role.

-Logistics experience.



Previous Experience (preferable but not mandatory):

-Financial Analyst experience.

-Accounts Payable experience.
