Java Software Developer (Cork)

Excellent opportunity for a Java Proffessional to progress their career with a large multi national based in Cork

 Java Software Developer is required for a leading multi national organisation based in their Cork office. The role is full time and permanent.

Our Clients is a major multi national blue chip organisation within the IT Sector, their European Head Quarters based in West Dublin with there further satellite offices based throughout the country. They are currently looking to add a Java Software developer to there well established Cork lab.

Our client has labs in both Cork and Galway focuses on the software development and deployment of there specialist products in the Wireless Performance Management space.

· We are looking for a Java Software Developer who possesses the following skills/ abilities:
· Create and use design documentation, such as Functional Programming Specifications and high level design documents to implement the identified components.
· Implement components that are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product.
· Provide fixes to defects identified by the verification team during the software development life cycle.
· Ideally candidate for this role should have experience in Agile methodologies with Virtualization technology exposure,

Requirements Include:
Degree qualified in a computer-related discipline or equivalent
Ideally 5 years of related experience, including experience managing the full life cycle of a project.
You ideally have a wide-ranging experience of development languages and 3+ years of programming experience in one of the following areas will be an advantage:
· Applications development tools such as Java, J2EE, in both Unix and Windows environments;
· Database design and implementation using SQL or procedural SQL;
· Platform/Installation expertise or Web UI technology expertise
