About this job
My client a global leader in mobile telecommunications products is seeking 2 Java/J2ee Developers on a 6 month contract.
The role:
You will have input on the full lifecycle of the product from Architecture, design through to coding.
You will optimise current product, investigate areas of improvement, and work on new prototype attachments to the current product.
The candidate:
A contractor: you must have a contracting background having worked on a variety of contracts over the past 3-4 years. Telecoms contracts are an advantage although not essential.
***Essential Requirements***
You must have 5 years Java
You must have worked on multi-threaded environment/synchronisation projects
You must have 5 years SQL/Oracle
You must have experience with EJB version 2 and or 3
UNIX / Linux and Windows experience.
**Desired**
Source control and Debugging experience
Eclipse
Any knowledge of UMTS.
