Description:
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading company in Co. Kerry as a HR Manager.
Key Aspects of the Role:
1) Act as a HR partner to support and advise Corporate Team Leaders on all HR related activities.
2) Work closely with Divisional HR Directors to manage the implementation of the Group HR processes.
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
Provide expert coaching and ongoing HR guidance to Managers and Employees.
Champion Employee engagement activities in the site including Employee briefing lunches and Sports and Social activities.
Manage the ongoing implementation and adherence to head office policies and procedures in line with Irish regulations and the employee/manager procedures handbooks.

Recruitment & Selection
Manage and co-ordinate all Corporate head office recruitment in line with agreed standards.
Ensure consistent implementation of contracts of employment and employee terms and conditions.

Employee and Leadership Development
Champion the implementation of the Performance and Development Process (PDP) for Kerry Corporate employees.
Ensure that training needs are identified, appropriate training delivered, evaluated and future action plans developed and agreed.

Compensations and Benefits
Manage pay programmes communications and administration in partnership with Payroll Team.
Co-ordinate work permits for oversees Employees

OD Support for Group Functions
Workforce Planning: Update and develop Function people plans in conjunction with Group Function Directors and Divisional HR Directors.
Talent Management: Liaise with Divisional HR Teams to generate Talent Reviews across Group Functions

HR Projects
Participate as a member on the SAP/ERP project
Develop HR policies and practices, which are flexible and sustainable.

Experience Required for the Role:
Experienced HR professional with a minimum of 8 years experience is essential.
Commercially aware with a sound HR generalist background and proven business and commercial acumen.
In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR practices (Republic of Ireland) with a solid track record in managing/advising on complex/sensitive legal issues as well as considering the impact of new legislation and devising new HR policies and procedures.
Proactive and strong skills in project management with experience of running a number of projects concurrently.
Bachelors in Business Studies or related degree with strong academic achievement and CIPD qualified. Masters in Human Resource Management would be advantageous.
Competencies Required for the Role:
Positive attitude towards team work and developing the HR team, displaying the drive and determination to make a difference, supported by a strong work ethic.
Highly developed influencing skills combined with the ability to manage a challenging and diverse client base and the confidence to question Management about actions/decisions.
Possess excellent leadership and communication skills - credible at senior level and able to challenge the status quo.
The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team and is confident in managing relationships at all levels.
A pragmatic, results orientated individual with a collaborative approach to providing HR solutions to meet internal client requirements. Ability to 'think on their feet', work under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity.
High ability to manage change effectively, display initiative and follow through on development of ideas.
Willingness to roll up sleeves and deal with low and high level issues.
A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Expert skills in MS desktop software (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Experience in SAP, Oracle or Peoplesoft and HR shared services preferred.
British Psychological Society Level A and B accreditation in Psychometric Assessment an advantage.
