General Manager - Fleet Maintenance

Our client is a leading provider of maintenance services to rolling stock within the rail sector in Europe. As part of their continued growth and development they now wish to appoint a General Manager to the Irish Business. This is a senior management role with overall operational responsibility of the business on a day to day basis and an opportunity to partake in the companies continued growth. Duties will include:



*responsibility for establishment of a team of mechanics/mechanical engineers to fulfill existing maintenance contracts



*liaising with clients insuring the highest customer service levels and tendering for/generating new business



*the day to day management of technical personnel - manpower planning, training and HR issues



Person Specification:



*Experience or knowledge of maintenance requirements of rolling stock/engines

*Desire to be involved in business development growth and management

*Good man and time manager
