Description French Sports Risk Executive
Reports to: Head of Sports Risk
Department: Sports
Overall Purpose of Job
To monitor risk pertaining to Sports by actively participating in Risk Analysis and observing competitors so as to provide a managed yet diversified product.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Continuously monitor and respond to sports information and markets
Monitor and control of company liabilities on sporting events in conjunction with traders
Analysis of sports product re profitability and viability of different markets
Reporting and recommending strategic plans/trading policies on such sports products and markets
Customer analysis
Essential Competencies:
Fluent French speaker
Interpersonal skills
Highly self motivated
Ability to work in a team
Flexible attitude towards working hours which would include bank holidays and weekends
Ability to think on feet and react promptly in response to changing situations
Education & Experience:
Third level qualification in mathematics or statistics desirable
Industry experience desirable
Highly numerate
Excellent knowledge of popular French sports is essential
