My client a global communications company is looking to recruit an experienced Electronics or Telcoms buyer to join the purchasing department. This is an excellent opportunity for person with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role to further their career within a global company. Requirements:


3 years experience in a similar buying role.
Proven experience at dealing directly with manufacturers.
Experience buying/sourcing technology based products.
Demonstrate an understanding of international procurement.
Demonstrate a track record of personal success.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships at director level.
Proven negotiation skills.
PC literate.

Desired:


Knowledge of Mobile Phone Accessories sourcing.
Purchasing qualification.
Experience of building product roadmaps.
Knowledge of contract law highly desirable.
Experience in mobile telecoms sector.
