Digital Design Engineer

My Munster based client has a vacancy for a Digital Design Engineer:



The Position:

You will be part of an experienced IC design team, involved in the development of complex high-speed mixed signal designs, from concept through to delivery to the end customer.



The Requirements:

You should have two to five years experience in the design of system-on-chips. Prior industry experience in leading edge consumer developments is highly desirable.



Qualifications



You will need a solid background in most or all of the following areas:

• Development of functional and design specifications

• Algorithm development (Matlab)

• RTL design (Verilog)

• FPGA-based prototyping of blocks/whole signal chains

• Absorption/integration of 3rd party IP

• Advanced RTL and mixed-signal verification techniques (SystemVerilog, Ultrasim/Nanosim)

• Synthesis, PNR, static timing analysis, test insertion, power optimisation (Synopsys tool flow)

• Exposure to analog design flow (Cadence tools)

• Silicon evaluation and debug
