Depot Operations Manager

Depot Operations Manager. c£25K-£30K plus benefits. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for all apsects of running the depot excluding new sales / account management.

This is a hands-on management role with the following responsibilities:

To achieve budgeted results in financial year as projected.
To maintain and increase the Company’s business in the designated depot area, supporting and enhancing the size, quality and profitability of the branch
To maintain the buildings, premises, yard and facilities at the above depot.
To manage employees at the depot including for their health and safety.
Manage all activities to the ISO QMS procedures and also the Environmental Policy.

Duties will include:

Man management of operational team
Performance of related measurement to financial results
Total execution of all projects to budget costs
Overall profitability growth in trading period
Delivering quality to client deadlines and achieving optimal standards.
Health and Safety compliance to Regulations
Implement ISO 9001:2001 procedures within depot and ensure compliance by staff
Manage Health and Safety as per attached responsibilities

Background required:

You will have a background in the Hire Industry
Will have experience of operating at Depot Supervisor-Management level
Will preferably have trade skill e.g. Electrical or Mechanical or established DIY skills
Preferably with CSCS card in place
