Description
Customer Security Analyst
Overall Purpose of Role:
Paddypower.com is an international brand with a massive base of customers around the world. The Customer Security team are responsible for ensuring that all of our sites are kept free from fraud and our customers have the experience they deserve.
Using cutting edge technology, the successful candidate will assess and reduce the risk of fraud, detect fraud in real time and take steps to mitigate the effects of fraud.
Responsibilities:
Monitor transactions and play activity across all channels to assess the risk of fraud.
Design and apply procedures to identify suspect behaviour and continually improve these procedures to reduce the risk of fraud
Take action when fraud is discovered to prevent further losses
Communicate and work with other departments to ensure that customer activity, while monitored adequately for fraud, is not adversely affected.
Supply Training to all Customer Support agents to ensure they are “fraud aware” and know the correct processes to follow in relation to fraud
Analyse payment, play and fraud data to identify fraud trends and risks
Utilise 3rd party services to improve fraud detection rates
Manage the chargeback receipt and reply process to ensure that all chargebacks are promptly logged and responded to
Maximise the number of chargebacks which can be successfully reversed
Report on fraud statistics
Skills and Experience Required:
Either a business or computing degree or experience of working in an eCommerce environment
Experience of monitoring for and detecting fraud in an eCommerce environment
Experience of dealing with customers, particularly in an eCommerce environment.
Ability to work in an information sensitive environment
Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
Ability to multitask essential
Good time management skills a must
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Strong data analysis skills a must.
Advanced Excel Skills
Working Hours:
Primary working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 4pm to Midnight
Candidates may be required to work on a flexible shift basis Monday to Sunday
