Customer Retention Manager(Sportsbook)

Paddy Power is the biggest online betting brand in Ireland and one of the biggest and fastest growing in the UK. Due to continued growth, we want to recruit an experienced online marketer who will focus on maximising the value customers acquired through the Online Sportsbook Channel.



Primary objectives:


Maximise the value of the Online Sportsbook Customer database by:
Working with Acquisition and Online Operations teams to optimise conversion funnel for new customers from site visit to placing first bet.
Minimising churn of new and existing customers
Reactivating lapsed customers
Maximise the spend, share of wallet, and profitability of all active customers
Manage retention marketing budget to maximise ROI


Key responsibilities:


Develop a thorough understanding of the customer base
Based on this understanding, develop a programme of retention based marketing campaigns and activities
Manage the design of marketing campaigns using a variety of communication channels (email, on site, social media, SMS, telephone etc.) targeting individual customer segments to maximise return on investment of retention marketing spend
Define and quantify key objectives of each campaign
Define success of campaign including ROI and other key KPIs
Manage execution of all campaigns
Report on success of campaigns
Develop our VIP customer base through through analysis and targeted campaigns to maximise retention and spend
Manage retention marketing budget spend
Drive product development initiatives aimed at achieving each of the key objectives above
Manage cross sell with other channels to maximise value of customers to Paddy Power Online as a whole


Candidate profile:


Relevant degree
Experience of:
Marketing in a high volume environment, ideally in an online B2C environment
Managing all aspects of retention focused marketing campaigns, ideally including experience with analytical tools and mass email marketing solutions.
Marketing using social media
Online Marketing essential
Gambling/Industry Marketing desirable
Personal:
Good attention to detail
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and spoken)
Good team worker
Motivated & high energy
Articulate, persuasive and authoritative
Results driven
Desire to live and work in Dublin
