Description:
Excellent opportunity to join a leading SSC center in the Cork suburbs.
As a member of the Customer Marketing organization, you will be part of a team
that provide primary customer marketing support to customers in Europe across various
market segments.
Responsibilities:
Provide primary customer marketing support for major customers in Europe
Manage a group of accounts to specific business unit goals including gross margin, design sites penetration, and new product adoption.
Develop strategic plans with field sales and Business Units to penetrate key design groups and to secure major platform design wins. This activity includes developing business proposals and writing contracts.
Maintain a strong understanding of market and technology trends including customer market share, focus markets, and end-products. Provide expert judgment on these metrics and trends. Lead team members to demonstrate a commanding knowledge of system level architecture and functional block diagrams of customerÕs equipment.
Support development and implementation of the business unitÕs 3-5 year strategic plan.
Support new product planning process communicating future design requirements of industry leading customers into the factory.
Develop and manage key corporate relationships with senior management (ex: purchasing, engineering management, components)
Coordinate sales efforts on multi-regional design platforms.
Implementing worldwide pricing strategies and negotiating corporate contracts.
Preparing and leading contract negotiations with key accounts
Presenting technical information including product presentations and roadmaps.
Prioritizing, escalating, and driving customer issues to resolution with in the factory.
Produce, distribute and maintain appropriate account specific information including: contract pricing documents, budgetary price projection documents, formal project proposals, contract negotiations, purchasing agreements.
Experience Required
Qualifications include a BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or equivalent with experience in a semiconductor-related Marketing/FAE/Product Manager/FSE role. A good understanding of the FPGA/CPLD market (both Technical and Commercial aspects) is required. An Engineering/Commercial Degree is an advantage.
Prior experience and knowledge of the Communications vertical market segment (Wireless and Wireline applications) would be an advantage
