Compliance Officer

Role


My client is a niche insurance firm offering a variety of products within a wide coverage of jurisdictions. This role will have primary responsibility for the EMEA region

This role is based in Dublin and requires someone with the relevant experience and an understanding of foreign markets.

Specific responsibilities as follows:

· Undertake and lead regulatory monitoring activities across all business areas.
· Provide a range of compliance guidance, consultancy and support to all areas of the business.
· Provide regulatory support to a variety of high level projects and business initiatives.
· Provide support to the Operational Risk & Compliance Manager in respect of Financial Crime, Data Protection and Information Security.
· Keep up-to-date with all legislative and regulatory changes.



TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years experience in a Compliance environment

Financial services background with experience in the Funds services and/or Life Assurance/Pensions Sector is essential.

Knowledge of Irish Regulations essential and UK Regulations preferable.
