Cafe Manager Dublin city centre

Café Supervisor/Manager required for Dublin city centre.

Modern and busy café right in the centre of Dublin city requires a full time experienced supervisor/manager.

The main function of this job is to take responsibility for, and supervise the provision of a high standard of
café service in the absence of the owners, maintaining agreed people, service and systems procedures.

This cafe is part of a franchise organization with operating systems and procedures in place for you to follow.

The owners will always be available with a helping hand.

* the café is reachable from all transport options, Luas (red line nearest), DART and bus if coming from just outside the city.

Responsibilities will include:

 Managing the floor team
 Liaising with owners
 Meeting and greeting customers
 Managing rosters
 Identifying areas for improvement
 Stock control
 Ordering
 Cash handling

Requirements:

 Excellent level of spoken English.
 Ability to work in Ireland/EU without a work permit.
 Be available for full time hours throughout the year.
 Previous supervisory experience.
 Excellent customer service skills.

 Be familiar with HACCP requirements.

Desired experience for this position includes:

 Café and deli experience essential.
 Experience managing staff in a café environment.
 Hands on experience serving and dealing with customers.
 Some knowledge of wine retailing would also be an advantage.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience. Performance bonus also applicable.
