Business Development Director - Pharmaceutical

Our client req. a senior candidate with proven business development success of concluding out-licensing, in-licensing and co-development opportunites with major European Pharmaceutical companies.

The successful candidate will be tasked with setting up and running our clients European business from their European HQ in Ireland.

The role will principally be to carry out commercial assessment, product selection, and IP development and to lead the Business Development initiative for our client across the European region.



You will be responsible for Product Selection and identifying co-development opportunities with other pharmaceutical companies.

This critical position in the company will lead Business Development activities through partner interactions, presenting opportunities / technologies, leading contract negotiations, identifying opportunities to / with potential partners.



Requirements:



5 to 10 years business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry across Europe

Proven success in negotiating transactions / license agreements in the pharmaceutical industry, including deal origination, analysis and evaluation, structure, execution and post-deal management.

Dtrong negotiation skills

Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) matters.

Proven success in identifying licensing opportunites.
